Nearest airport: Air service into Flagstaff’s Pulliam Airport (FLG) is available via US Airways and Horizon Air. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) is 2 and a half hours away.  

Convention centers/Large event spaces: High Country Conference Center features 25,000 square feet of flexible meeting space.

Flagstaff is centrally located in northern Arizona and features a host of activities for your group, most notably exploring the high-altitude, mountainous desert.

Things to Do
● In 1946 Bobby Troup wrote the popular song and Nat King Cole recorded “(Get your kicks on) Route 66.” About the 2,448-mile road from Chicago to Los Angeles. Today, Route 66 has disappeared off many maps, but it still bisects Flagstaff. Many of the old route 66 hotels and auto shops, constructed of native rock and brick, still stand in downtown Flagstaff. The Flagstaff Convention and Visitors Bureau has produced a historic walking tour describing the history and location of many of the old buildings.

● Flagstaff is home to two major astronomical observatories, Lowell Observatory and the United States Naval Observatory Flagstaff Station.

● Along historic 1890s streets in the Downtown Flagstaff Historic District, you’ll find clothing boutiques, outdoor outfitters, bookstores, art galleries, a wide variety of great restaurants, cafés and microbreweries. Live entertainment can be found almost every evening.

Hotels
There are many accommodations available in Flagstaff. Here are just a few:

Little America Hotel contains indoor as outdoor meeting space as it is located in a 500-acre private forest, and offers dining at the Western Gold Restaurant.

● The Radisson Woodlands Hotel is rated by AAA and features on-site dining and a 3,900-square-foot ballroom.

Travelodge Flagstaff is located near the NAU Conference Center.

Drury Inn & Suites is LEED-certified as a green building and features a total of 3,700 square feet of meeting space.

Venues
High Country Conference Center features 25,000 square feet of flexible meeting space.

The Aquaplex features recreational swimming, a kids’ climbing wall and gym.

Arizona Snowbowl features activities like skiing or hiking and can host groups of up to 300 indoors with full catering available.

Coconino Center for the Arts showcases Native American art.

Museum of Northern Arizona is another great place to learn about Native American culture and art.

Pine Mountain Amphitheater is an outdoor theater perfect for concerts or high-energy presentations.

Thornager's on Kiltie Lane is a full-service special events facility.

Northern Arizona University also offers several meeting spaces.

Dining
Salsa Brava has been voted “Flagstaff’s best Mexican restaurant” and was featured on the Food Network.

Josephine's Modern American Bistro is set in a historic building and features a large wine selection, outdoor patio and two fireplaces.
